A downloaded application, or a failed download will not delete on the device. How do I remove this app?
If the application jiggles but doesn't show the "x", you may have a restriction on deletion of apps.
Settings > General > Reset will reset all settings.
If the application is only partially downloaded you may also try the following 2 options:
1) Restart the device:
Hold down the power button and home button at the same time, until the apple logo appears then release and turn iPad back on. Try the delete at this time.
2) Install from iTunes / reload the device to match what is in iTunes:
Download to desktop, and sync with iTunes. Try syncing with the desktop to remove all of the partially installed files too.
